Project Coordinator:



Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management support for a number of large scale insurance related software products.
  • Manage the day-to-day project plan (work with MS Project extensively) assisting Project Managers and Business Analysts on various project tasks including obtaining status of projects updating and maintaining project schedules using MS Project and recording meeting minutes.
  • Communicate with all different levels of personnel in order to obtain the status of projects.
  • Determine critical paths and merging project plans.
  • Review upcoming and existing projects and identify key resources needed for these projects assessing risk involved with resource shortages and constraints.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years over all I.T experience with at least 3 years in Project Coordination.
  • Two years of project coordination experience and/or project management experience.
  • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent information technology related projects with a primary focus being software development projects.
  • Strong Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office skills our client expects the resource to be able to hit the ground running (i.e. updating project plans in MS Project etc).
  • Experience with resource utilization and allocation planning for multiple concurrently projects.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel from technical to high level executive management must have strong interpersonal, negotiation, and client interfacing skills.
  • Self-starter, assertive, enthusiastic with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
